Job Summary

Support treasury operations by managing daily cash deposit activities and serving as the subject matter expert for banking deposit services. This role includes processing check deposits, reviewing lockbox services, journaling entries through the ERP system, and communicating directly with financial institutions, as necessary. You’ll lead or participate in projects that improve treasury processes and documentation, and collaborate across departments to resolve complex service issues.

You’ll also assist with bank outage reconciliations pertaining to lockbox accounts.  This role requires the fondness of rote/repetitive work that requires strong attention to detail, agility in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for process improvement.

  • Process incoming check deposits and prepare accounting entries
  • Maintain and update task documentation for treasury functions
  • Research and resolve reconciliation issues and service inquiries
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and process improvements
  • Provide backup and support for treasury operations
  • Ability to work on-site in Portland, OR is a requirement of the role. *
  • The pay range for this position is $52,000–$56,000 annually. *

Skills and Background You’ll Need

  • EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced coursework in accounting preferred
  • EXPERIENCE:
    • 1–2 years of experience in banking, cash handling, or account reconciliation
    • Experience with Microsoft Office, shared drives, and email; SharePoint a plus
  • MUST-HAVES:
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
    • Strong grasp of daily treasury tasks and ability to complete them accurately
    • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
    • Flexibility to adapt to shifting workloads and deadlines
    • Ability to work on-site in Portland, OR
  • PREFERRED:
  • Experience supporting process improvement or M&A initiatives
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial institution communications

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:

24.16 - 32.33
