About your team

The Finance Technology function provides systems development, implementation and support services for FIL’s Finance Team.  We support several functions spanning across Business Finance & Management Accounting, Financial Accounting & Analytics, Taxation, Global Procurement, Corporate Treasury, and several other teams in all of FIL’s international locations, including UK, Japan, China and India.

We provide IT services to the Fidelity International businesses, globally. These include development and support of business functions that underpin our financial accounting and decision making for global CFO Orgs, and we implement multiple systems including ERP platforms, Oracle EPM, home grown apps and third party products.  We are system providers to key process lifecycles such as Procure to Pay (P2P/Global Procurement), Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C) and Acquire to Retire (A2R). We also manage systems to enable cash management, forex trading and treasury operations across the Globe. We own warehouses that consolidate data from across the organisations functions to provide meaningful insights.

We are currently running a major multi-year global transformation programme that includes construction of critical new in-house applications, catering to several functional work streams.

About your role

The Treasury Business Analyst is responsible for analysing and optimising treasury processes and systems to support the financial objectives of the organisation. This role requires a deep understanding of treasury functions, financial markets, and technology systems used in treasury operations, with the ability to provide global support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and document business requirements for treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, risk management, and investment activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global support teams to identify process improvements and implement efficient solutions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support treasury decisions and strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularity reports with the Data Lake warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to treasury operations.
  • Support the implementation of new treasury software and systems, including user training and troubleshooting.
  • Act as a liaison between the treasury department and Treasury IT teams to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions.
  • Provide global support for treasury operations as required.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in treasury management systems (e.g., Kyriba, SAP Treasury, Oracle Treasury).
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, Intercompany Movement, and risk management tools.
  • Exposure to GenAI and LLM integration in enterprise data platforms.
  • Working understanding of the Cloud Azure/AWS based infra solutions.
  • Proficiency with SQL and database management for extracting and analysing data.
  • Experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data platforms, Python, APIs and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations affecting treasury operations.
  • Ability to use data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present insights.
  • Working knowledge of SWIFT payments systems and treasury markets.
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC and ITIL process for the Production Support.
  • Understanding of software applications on-premises.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and data analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a treasury or financial analyst role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in finance or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are a plus.
  • Experience in project management or business process improvement methodologies.


The right candidate must be a highly motivated who can quickly troubleshoot the issues/bugs/service requests requirements from stakeholders and translate them into Oracle EPM (PBCS & PCMCS) Solution. Good understanding of reporting solutions like smartview and financial reports. Candidate must be familiar with MDM process and its management.
