You will lead client relationships, drive GPS sales, and deliver tailored transaction banking, cash management, and treasury solutions to generate incremental revenue while ensuring strategic alignment across internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) to drive growth and innovation across a portfolio of high-profile Non-Bank Financial Institution (NBFI) clients. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on GPS’s growth priorities and client innovation.
In this client-facing leadership role, you will shape strategic treasury solutions spanning cash management, FX, liquidity, and trade finance. You’ll partner closely with Corporate Banking, Global Treasury Sales, and Product teams to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions that set new standards for client experience.
Supported by a strong associate team in London, this role offers regional visibility and influence, with regular travel across London and Europe to engage senior decision-makers.
Your mandate: accelerate revenue growth, deepen product penetration, and lead high-stakes client presentations, pricing strategies, and RFP/RFI responses. Success means balancing client value with bank profitability, while staying ahead of industry trends and operational best practices.
We’re seeking a strategic treasury professional with deep NBFI expertise and strong KYC and compliance knowledge—someone confident in leading complex engagements, crafting innovative solutions, and collaborating across global teams.
This is your opportunity to make a measurable impact on the growth of GPS and strengthen our position at the centre of the private capital and asset management ecosystem.
Client Relationship & Sales Management
Serve as the primary GPS sales lead for a portfolio of NBFI clients, with a strong focus on the Private Capital space.
Build and deepen strategic relationships to uncover opportunities, lead impactful meetings and presentations, and manage high-stakes RFP responses.
Align the bank’s capabilities with client needs across transaction banking, cash, and treasury services to deliver integrated, value-driven solutions.
Strategic Planning & Collaboration
Develop and execute account plans and lead client strategy discussions in alignment with Corporate Banking and cross-regional priorities.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Corporate Banking, Credit & Risk, Compliance, Product, Implementation, and Operations to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions.
Business Development & Solution Design
Drive revenue growth and build a robust new business pipeline in line with team goals.
Design and present tailored cash management proposals, while providing client and market insights to influence product innovation.
Governance & Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
Exercise sound judgment in managing day-to-day client relationships and complex matters.
Leadership & Team Contribution
Support and mentor junior team members, including Treasury Sales Analysts and Associates.
Prepare high-impact briefing materials for senior management engagements and contribute to regional planning discussions.
Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture that drives performance and innovation
Brand Representation
Actively contribute to internal and external marketing initiatives to strengthen the Bank of America franchise.
Represent the bank at industry events and client forums, showcasing thought leadership and expertise
What we are looking for
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in treasury and transaction banking, ideally with a focus on Asset Management and Private Capital clients.
Proven track record in cash management and liquidity solutions at leading financial institutions.
Deep sector expertise in Private Capital, Asset Management, Market Infrastructure, and NBFI, managing global clients headquartered in EMEA as well as US firms operating in Europe.
Strong understanding of treasury solutions, including cash management, liquidity strategies, FX, commercial cards, working capital, and trade finance.
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex client relationships, manage competing priorities, and deliver consistent, high-impact results.
Experience managing global portfolios across Asset Management and NBFI sectors, with a focus on strategic treasury solutions for EMEA clients.
Proven ability to build and sustain cross-regional partnerships, driving collaboration between product, coverage, and risk teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Strong KYC knowledge and a commitment to compliance and risk management, ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards.
A strategic thinker with robust problem-solving skills and a client-centric mindset focused on service excellence.
Exceptional communicator (verbal and written) with outstanding presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Collaborative team player with experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with strong capabilities in client analysis and presentation development.
Fluent in English; additional languages such as French or German are highly valued.
Familiarity with the bank’s internal systems, processes, and structure is advantageous.
