Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an accounting or finance student in the Spokane Valley area. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. As a Treasury Intern, a typical day might include the following:
Offer support in the areas of treasury management, cash forecasting, bank relationships, credit facilities, foreign currency, employee credit cards, international trade, and investments.
Provide analytical support and enhance process automation for accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
Research and review investment opportunities and configure bank accounts to support global cash management.
Design simple but effective models to support financial analysis and risk management projects within the Treasury Department.
This job might be for you if you:
You are a current student pursuing a degree at an accredited institution in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Accounting.
Are available for a minimum of 1-year commitment (including summer) to the intern position.
You are motivated and self-directed.
You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
You are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
You are able to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Have background check results satisfactory to SEL.
Have negative drug test result(s).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Excel.

Pay Range Data
($21.50 - $24.25 per hour)* Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Talk to your recruiter if you are curious about the rate for your year in school.
