Treasury and Corporate Finance Intern

About the Opportunity:

As a Treasury & Corporate Finance Intern at N26, you will support the Treasury team in core treasury and corporate finance activities, gaining hands-on exposure to a fast-paced, innovative fintech environment. You will contribute to financial data analysis, treasury processes, and cross-functional projects, helping to improve efficiency, transparency, and decision-making within the treasury function — always in line with regulatory and internal requirements.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated student who wants to deepen their understanding of treasury, banking, and corporate finance while working alongside experienced professionals.

In this Role, You Will:

• Support the assigned Treasury sub-team (Corporate Finance, ALM, or STIRM) in day-to-day operations.
• Assist with financial data analysis and preparation of ad-hoc reports and presentations.
• Contribute to improving process efficiency within treasury workflows.
• Support internal and external audit-related topics.
• Participate in cross-functional projects across the company.
• Assist with selected external projects related to treasury and finance initiatives.

What You Need to Be Successful:

Background: 

• Active enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (or equivalent), preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of financial and banking processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Skills

• High level of motivation, initiative, and reliability.
• Strong willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Interest in treasury, corporate finance, and the banking industry.
