Position Overview

ATLAS SP is seeking a motivated Analyst to join the Treasury team in New York, where the candidate will work within a dynamic and strategic team that plays a crucial part in shaping the future of the company. 

As a Treasury Analyst in ATLAS, you will be responsible for supporting the oversight of forecasting and analysis of Atlas’ different funding structures and its impact on our balance sheet and liquidity. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize performance and utilization of balance sheet and liquidity resources while adhering to internal controls and business objectives.
The role also requires strong analytical and quantitative skills, and advanced ability to produce Excel models & analysis and PowerPoint presentations.

Primary Responsibilities

Candidate will be an integral part of a small team of highly qualified professionals and involved in all aspects of the funding management and debt optimization of the company.  The role requires strong analytical and quantitative skills, and advanced ability to produce Excel models & analysis and PowerPoint presentations.
Manage day-to-day job responsibilities and ad-hoc projects including:
•    Support production of weekly, monthly and quarterly senior-level overviews and write variance commentaries which articulate total results with a focus on total balance sheet trend, net funding and liquidity usage, net interest margin (“NIM”) with reference to the underlying business drivers
•    Support initiatives to improve efficiency in forecasting process and implement proper controls
•    Support ad-hoc requests around liquidity usage, growth initiatives as well as materials for senior level presentations
•    Establish and run weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for the different structures and for Atlas on a consolidated basis
•    Respond in a timely manner to ad-hoc requests regarding ATLAS SP’s financial metrics, growth
•    Stay up-to-date on the firm’s policies and procedures to ensure appropriate protocols are implemented and followed initiatives, and other materials for senior management, lenders, or investor

Qualification and Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    Strong academic credentials and 1+ years of financial services or consulting experience; familiarity with asset-backed financial products, legal contracts, debt origination, and securitized/structured products a plus
•    Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and competency in other Office applications
•    Possesses intellectual curiosity, strong analytical ability, and financial acumen
•    Proactive problem-solver that is eager to learn and take on responsibility; self-motivated with ability to prioritize time efficiently and operate with modest oversight on small deal teams (2-3 professionals)
•    Possesses strong organizational & project management skills, work ethic, and sense of urgency; results-orientated without compromising control and detail
•    Ability to quickly grasp critical details of evolving transactions and multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
•    Excellent communication & listening skills

 

Base Salary Range

$100,000-$120,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
