The Treasury Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s daily cash management operations. The cash management team oversees the deposit and allocation of all incoming receipts, monitors multiple bank accounts, and prepares analyses and recommendations related to cash position and future projections. With approximately $750 million in annual receipts, the department manages high‑volume, time‑sensitive activities that require accuracy, analytical thinking, and strong process discipline.

This position provides essential support for daily operational tasks while enabling the Treasury Manager to focus on higher‑level treasury functions, investment strategies, and analytics that enhance organizational liquidity and earnings.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Daily Cash Management

  • Prepare and update the daily cash flow and cash position report for management review.
  • Review bank account activity, including deposits, disbursements, and transfers.
  • Forecast short‑term and long‑term cash flow based on operational activity and investment schedules.

Banking & Cross‑Department Collaboration

  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal departments to coordinate large cash disbursements.
  • Communicate with operating and investment banks through written and verbal channels to resolve issues and support daily operations.

Receipt Processing & Reconciliation

  • Post and allocate incoming receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily and monthly account balancing to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Process Improvement & Controls

  • Identify opportunities to automate or enhance existing processes to improve efficiency and strengthen audit controls.
  • Support the development of reporting tools and analytical models as needed.

Additional Duties

  • Assist with special projects and perform other responsibilities as assigned to support departmental goals.

The person hired for this position will work out of the Lakeland, FL office which offers a hybrid work environment of 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, treasury operations, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced preferred)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage time‑sensitive tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
