Treasury Analyst

Project-based Responsibilities (60%)

  • Become expert user of Kyriba Treasury Workstation, supporting system implementation, testing, referential data setup/maintenance, and delivering ongoing training to new staff
  • Analyze bank account services and pricing to identify inefficiencies or services no longer required and recommend cost-savings opportunities
  • Partner with IT and project teams to assist with the development and implementation of various treasury technology initiatives, including fraud protection solutions and bank account request system
  • Support Cash Forecasting initiatives through data analysis, reporting, and presentation
  • Create, document, and maintain comprehensive treasury procedures for key operational processes
  • Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations and deliver clear, executive-level briefings to senior management
  • Actively participate in internal team meetings and external weekly bank calls to address operations issues and evaluate new initiatives

Operational Responsibilities (40%)

  • Perform bank account administration, including opening and closing accounts, establishing fraud protection services, maintaining bank account database, and updating authorized signatories
  • Review daily wire transfer activity in Kyriba Treasury Workstation to ensure compliance with treasury policies and procedures and approve transactions once validated
  • Serve as system administrator for third-party banking platforms, maintaining a controlled environment and limited account visibility to users
  • Assist finance teams with transaction inquiries, stop payments, and other investigations
  • Coordinate KYC requests between banks and portfolio accounting team to ensure timely and accurate submissions
  • Review daily check and ACH positive pay exceptions and ensure all exceptions are resolved prior to bank cutoff times
  • Perform daily cash balance reporting across all corporate and portfolio bank accounts

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of treasury/cash management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience or familiarity in commercial real estate operations
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze data and present findings; proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experience with Kyriba or other Treasury Workstations preferred
  • Familiar with account opening process for complex legal structures, including an understanding of bank Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
  • Working knowledge of fraud-protection products with the ability to implement across banks
  • Knowledge of U.S. banking payments infrastructure such as wire, check, and ACH formats and clearing processes
  • Experience with banking portals and system administration setups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support process documentation, stakeholder training, and contribution to cross‑functional treasury projects
  • Ability to operate in a controlled, organized, and very detail-oriented manner to ensure processes are accurately documented and consistently executed
  • Experience assisting with project management, including coordinating requirements with multiple stakeholders, document deliverables, and tracking progress against timelines
  • Knowledge of financial markets, with a preference for experience in short-term money markets
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred or willingness to pursue certification after hire
