Reporting to the Treasury Manager, Banking Compliance & Control, the role will play a key part in maintaining and administering Flutter’s Group Treasury compliance & control objectives. The role will focus on allowing the team to meet the strategic corporate banking re-structing required for the next phase of growth for the Flutter Group. This role is suited to individuals with strong technical ability, and demonstrable interpersonal, communication and networking skills. Experience of treasury and banking compliance for a large multinational company is essential.

What you’ll do

  • Supporting the Treasury Manager in cultivating and developing relationships with the group’s banking partners, particularly in respect of matters pertaining to treasury compliance and bank administration.
  • Working collaboratively with members of the Treasury team, compliance, licencing and legal functions in the completion of Know-Your-Customer (KYC) banking requirements and due diligence reviews.
  • Developing new operational banking relationships in regulated markets in line with Group Treasury strategy to help deliver long-term improvements to the groups corporate banking structure.
  • Ensuring that all group & divisional bank mandates and signatories are in line with and recorded within Group Treasury policy and standards.
  • Assisting with the timely completion of audit queries from our group and divisional auditors.
  • Developing and maintaining centralised banking compliance information, ensuring it is fit for purpose and scalable across the group’s banking relationships.
  • Working closely alongside other pillars of Group Treasury with projects contributing towards the team’s strategic objectives.
  • New business support including new jurisdictions – providing assistance in terms of new bank account set-up and onboarding of any acquisitions.
  • Assisting with regulatory & compliance requirements for the Group including the Sarbanes–Oxley Act, Group Treasury Policy, internal controls and other binding reporting requirements.
  • Assisting with Oracle and finance system related integration tasks, including General Ledger code management.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

How you’ll do it

  • Treasury or banking professional, with at least 1 year of relevant treasury or banking/gaming compliance experience.
  • Ability to build good networks and relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to convey ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Flexible, enjoying a frequently changing environment with a positive attitude and desire to constantly improve.
  • Proactivity and innovation – highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Strong time management, organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Exposure to the gaming industry, directly or via a bank, is advantageous.
