Job Summary:

As a Treasury Administration Analyst, you'll be part of the Finance - Treasury Administration team that keeps our treasury operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the Accounting & financial Systems group’s leadership in the pursuit of executing core activities

What you'll have:

  • You're pursuing or have completed a professional accounting or finance designation (CPA, CFA, or FRM) and have 2-4 years of experience in financial services

  • Familiarity with core financial systems

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills

  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal

  • A keen eye for accuracy and detail

  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • A proactive mindset—you're comfortable questioning existing processes and suggesting improvements

  • A collaborative spirit—you're supportive, respectful, and actively contribute to team success

  • Experience building strong working relationships, resolving conflicts constructively, and mentoring teammates

  • Knowledge of financial instruments, securitization, the Canada Mortgage Bond program, derivatives, and securities/derivatives settlements and administration

  • Settle investment transactions for Central 1 and custody clients, including commercial papers and collateral, while managing settlement risk across teams

  • Partner with Treasury to meet business needs and identify opportunities to streamline processes

  • Support the onboarding process for new commercial paper clients

  • Prepare monthly statements and invoices for Central 1 Custody clients

  • Oversee and track securities lending activities

  • Process daily deposit transactions as requested by Treasury

  • Review financial transactions against daily deadlines, verify accuracy, and flag any discrepancies to Treasury

  • Manage the withdrawal of lent securities to facilitate trading settlements

  • Handle settlement accounting and reconcile suspense entries between Murex and cash desk postings

Salary range: $55,000-$65,000

The salary represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
