Whether you’re just starting your career in travel coordination or have already supported teams with logistics and planning, you could be a great fit for this role. We’re looking for a detail-focused communicator who thrives on organization, enjoys helping others, and can juggle shifting priorities with ease.
About the Role:
As a Travel Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in creating seamless travel experiences for Veterans United employees, prospective team members, clients, and affiliates. From crafting detailed itineraries to coordinating logistics behind the scenes, you’ll help ensure every journey is smooth, stress-free, and thoughtfully planned. If you love organizing the details, enjoy building great travel experiences, and thrive in a fast-paced, service-focused environment, we’d be excited to meet you.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing:
Handle travel requests from ServiceNow tickets, emails, and phone calls, making sure everything is completed and closed out so our records stay clean and accurate.
Keep expenses, receipts, and traveler details organized in Concur to support smooth and accurate accounting.
Pitch in on planning bigger events like Advisory Board retreats, incentive trips, and leadership retreats.
Put together detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas that help every traveler feel prepared and supported.
Jump in where needed to support the team and strengthen our culture, taking on additional tasks outside of licensed activity to keep things running smoothly.
About You:
Detail-Driven. You catch the small things others miss and keep accuracy at the center of everything you do.
Organized. You juggle tasks, timelines, and information smoothly—and you always know what needs to happen next.
Service-Oriented. You communicate clearly, stay patient under pressure, and make every interaction feel supported and respected.
Collaborative. You enjoy working closely with others and contribute to a positive, cooperative team environment.
Adaptable. Priorities shift, plans change, and you’re quick to adjust without losing momentum.
Reliable. You show up, follow through, and can be counted on—whether it’s meeting deadlines, traveling occasionally, or pitching in outside normal hours when needed.
Responsible. You maintain a valid driver’s license, have reliable transportation, and uphold a strong sense of accountability in your work.
About Us:
We’re all about helping Veterans and military families become homeowners. In two short decades, we closed over 500,000 VA Loans and became the #1 VA lender for homebuyers in the nation. But to us, success isn’t measured in numbers. Our success is measured in living our values every day: Be Passionate and Have Fun, Deliver Results with Integrity and Enhance Lives Every Day. We always strive to provide friendly service to military homebuyers and their families. And we always seek to lift up people and communities across the country.
We’re so glad you’re here checking out this opportunity! If this role gets you excited but you’re worried you don’t check every box – don't sweat it. We’re more interested in what you can bring to the team than a perfect checklist. If you’re passionate, driven, and ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you. Come as you are, and together we’ll create something amazing.
