Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking an experienced Trauma Registrar for our ED Trauma Department.
Shift: Full Time, 40hrs, Days
Job Description:
Prepares spreadsheets, reports, lists, and matrixes for use in operations of department. Reviews confidential, statistical data for accuracy and safeguards all confidential facts and figures at all times.
Education
HS Diploma required, graduate of a HIM program highly preferred
Certification/Licensure
CSTR or CAISS certification preferred - (expectation to acquire this cert within 3yrs)
Experience
HIM trained, trauma registrar experience.
Experience with Epic and ICD Coding.
Knowledge of medical terminology and Anatomy and Physiology.
3yrs relevant experience required.
