The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the department.  They delegate duties to staff members ensuring the essential operations of the department are maintained with a focus on safety and efficiency.  Ensures daily changes are coordinated in an efficient, effective and productive manner.  Appraises changes and communicates with customers whenever necessary.  Communicates information to other internal departments as necessary.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

  • Coordinates daily scheduling of drivers and staff members ensuring the effectiveness of the workforce

  • Monitor and manage department volume and on-time store deliveries.

  • Monitor work performance of planned vs. actual deliveries.

  • Data analysis utilizing a variety of reports, summaries, technology and procedures.

  • Conducts monthly, semi-annual and annual evaluations of drivers.

  • Enforces strict adherence to safety policies, all FMCSA regulatory compliance, state regulatory compliance, and all respective training of DOT rules & regulations, state inspections and preventive maintenance.

  • Responsible for overall team performance through coaching, mentoring, leading and accountability.

  • Responsible for Management Business Objective and initiative planning and completion.

  • Conducts training, cross-training and/or presentations emphasizing the department service standards.

  • Receives, reviews, and processes vehicle accident and damage reports.

  • Promotes a safe work environment by conducting safety audits and meetings.

  • Will be required to cover multiple schedules and shift times.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by manager.

**ROTATING SHIFTS- 2nd/3rd rotation shift and rotation shift covering colleague PTO as needed. 4:00pmPST to 1:00amPST. Transportation Supervisors will work 9 hour shifts.**

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics/transportation/supply chain.

  • Leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced work environment

  • Detail oriented and ability to coordinate complex work schedules

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
