Job Overview
The Regional Transportation Manager oversees transportation operations across multiple PACE centers, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant service that supports participant care, center attendance, and appointment adherence. This role provides direct leadership to On-Road Supervisors, drivers, and coordinators while fostering a supportive work environment that promotes accountability, teamwork, and high performance. Working closely with Center Leadership, Clinical teams, Scheduling, Functional Teams, Marketing, Safety, and external partners, the Regional Transportation Manager makes sure transportation is an integrated part of the care team. This role supports operational optimization, process improvement, and strategic initiatives that enhance the participant experience, support census growth and retention, and align with AltaMed PACE goals.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Transportation, Operations, or a related field required; Master’s degree (MBA/MHA) preferred or equivalent progressive leadership experience.
Minimum of 5 years' of leadership experience in transportation, healthcare operations, logistics, or a related operational environment.
Proven experience managing multi-site or regional operations, with accountability for service delivery, performance metrics, and team development.
Experience in process improvement, change management, and operational standardization across multiple locations.
Experience using data and performance metrics to identify trends, drive decisions, and implement sustainable improvements.
Experience in PACE, healthcare, NEMT, or senior services, and working with external transportation vendors preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, depending on regional demographics.
Compensation
$104,465.92 - $130,582.40 annuallyCompensation Disclaimer

The range is subject to change.
