Position Description

Reporting to the Logistics and Transportation Manager, the Transportation Analyst must possess passion, initiative and drive. This position requires the ability to build customer centric relationships while communicating TTI's commitment to excellence.  You must possess a Team First attitude, interacting with your peers positively to bring the best out of them and yourself.  Your passion for knowledge, both product and business will help you meet your required objectives.

This role will be based at TTi Canada’s Corporate Office and will drive transportation operations while managing carriers and compliance. The ability to prioritize and get "the job done" while managing the impact versus activity equation is vital. 

It is expected that you will be an outstanding communicator, both internally and externally; you will consistently bring suggestions and solutions to the table, rather than problems. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI is required.

What You Will Do:

  • Scheduling carriers

  • Following up on any carrier operational issues or timing concerns

  • Filing claims for damaged or lost product.

  • Supporting freight invoicing approvals.

  • Maintaining local relationships with terminals and dispatch.

  • Coordinating special executions including rail requirements and large events.

  • Working with the business on volume fluctuations.

  • Leads transportation data analysis, compliance, escalations, and spend tracking

  • Enhances compliance and reduces organizational risk by preventing costly errors, fines, and delivery delays.

  • Accelerates issue resolution by managing escalations quickly and minimizing operational disruptions.

  • Performs detailed carrier on‑time performance analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for service improvement.

  • Maintains a continuous improvement mindset focused on cost savings and efficiency.

  • Identifies opportunities to streamline processes and enhance overall service performance.

What You Have Done:

  • 3 - 5 years of Transportation experience required

  • Post-secondary education Bachelor’s degree in transportation, operations, logistics or supply chain preferred

  • Read, write and speak fluent English

  • Must possess effective business communication and presentation skills

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 + 15% annual bonus
