The Global Engagement team is a collaborative group dedicated to building strong national and international partnerships. They work across the University and with external partners to expand Murdoch’s global presence through initiatives such as Transnational Education, alumni engagement and reputation‑building. Their shared focus is creating impactful connections that support Murdoch’s mission worldwide.

Your New Role!  

Located within the Transnational Directorate, the Transnational Education Officer provides essential administrative support, coordination and advice to the Transnational Education Coordinator and Manager. The role contributes to contract deliverables, project planning and resolving issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support internal and external stakeholders involved in Transnational activities, ensuring they are well‑informed and receive timely assistance.

  • Develop, implement and maintain effective administrative systems, including support and setup for the Lecture Management System.

  • Provide guidance and training to stakeholders to ensure compliance with university policies and partnership agreements.

This Fixed Term (8 months ending December 2026) | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) parental leave coverage role attracts a remuneration of $91K – $98K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications paired with practical work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience.

  • Strong computer literacy with proven ability to produce high‑quality work using Microsoft Office and University-specific software systems, along with a willingness to learn new technologies as required.

  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage time effectively, handle competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.

  • Outstanding communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive, collaborative working relationships across all levels of the organisation.

  • Sound understanding of governance requirements, policies and legislation related to agreements and contract documentation.
