The Transmedia Experience Producer will manage content production from conceptualization to execution, including budget planning, logistics coordination, and post-production across various media formats. Responsibilities include creating content for social media, educational videos, podcasts, and spherical screens, while staying current with emerging trends. The Producer will also convert existing assets (e.g., exhibitions) into transmedia narratives, ensuring clear calls to action for target audiences.
The role involves optimizing content for new platforms and channels, enhancing audience engagement across diverse demographics. Additionally, the Producer will work closely with PR, Marketing, and the Advancement Office, and build relationships with external media, researchers, and academic institutions to co-create impactful content.
[What we are looking for]
The ideal candidate should have a Degree in Film, Media Arts, Mass Communications, or a related field, with experience in social media, communications, or production agencies, with expertise in content creation for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
The candidate should have experience in science content writing and science communication, supported by a comprehensive portfolio of scientific publications or blogs. A strong understanding of STEM topics and a solid grasp of the technology industry are essential.
Technical proficiency in multimedia production tools, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, is required, along with experience in social media content production and 360-degree content creation for dome environments. This role requires consistent delivery of error-free content, and the creation of compelling multimedia materials across various digital platforms.
Essential personal attributes include strong communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent visual storytelling abilities. The successful candidate must be adaptable, a fast learner, and an effective team player who can contribute meaningfully to collaborative projects and science communication initiatives.
