In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex, end-to-end finance transition projects, ensuring the seamless migration of processes, systems, and operations due to restructuring, system upgrades, or operating model changes.
The Global Finance Transformation team is crucial to Iron Mountain's evolution, acting as the bridge between strategic planning and operational stability to drive efficiency and modernization across the Finance function.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Lead and Execute Transition Projects: Lead full lifecycle transition projects within Finance (e.g., Shared Services, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) migration, or outsourcing), developing and managing detailed transition plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
Manage Stakeholders and Change: Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams (Finance, Information Technology (IT), Human Resources (HR), and Business Units), leading change management activities to ensure stakeholder buy-in and driving robust knowledge transfer and process documentation.
Ensure Compliance and Stabilization: Identify and develop risk mitigation plans to minimize business disruption, ensure strict compliance with internal controls and accounting standards throughout the transition, and manage the post-transition stabilization phase to achieve steady-state performance.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
Ten or more years of experience in Finance, with at least five to six years dedicated to transition, project, or change management.
Strong knowledge of finance operations workflows, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Treasury.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale finance process transitions, coupled with proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; an Master of Business Administration (MBA) or professional qualification (Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or Chartered Accountant (CA)) is highly preferred.
