Purpose Statement: Transition Management role is to lead the Plexus Transition System in the development and execution of Transition Programs and Projects across Plexus Regions and Plexus Market Sectors globally. Transition Management leads the Transition Program of Work & associated Projects by working with internal & external stakeholders including Plexus Program Management & CFT (Customer Focus Team) in addition to other SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) inside & outside Plexus.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Works within the Plexus organization to design transition project teams , and leads wider teams when managing international programs.
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to support business development solutions and new programs. Also works to manage customer stakeholders’ expectations.
- Apply project management tools such as processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure flawless execution.
- Ensure common processes are implemented across all sites supporting a customer account in order to create standard work to have a more consistent positive engagement with the customer by deploying best practices, using common metrics, and creating common communication formats Practice a continuous improvement mindset by concluding transition programs through a case study approach and documenting lessons learned. Also will be responsible for analyzing quoted cost and to actual cost at conclusion of the transition.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred)
- PMI Membership with PMP Certification preferred (or equivalent project management training)
- CLSSGB – Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
- 5 years Industry experience in an EMS or Product company: business, operations, project management, technical or supply chain role is required.
