S/4HANA
The OneRTX Process & Systems Transformation (PST) program is driving UK readiness activity for the S/4HANA deployment in 2029. This role will deliver critical projects within the UK transformation portfolio to ensure that UK business can integrate with, and fully benefit from, the Raytheon S/4HANA single instance and standardised processes.
About the role:
The Transformation Project Manager leads the full end‑to‑end delivery of organisational transformation initiatives, working autonomously to manage projects from initiation to implementation and ensure delivery against scope, timelines, and benefits. Reporting to the IBP Lead, the role drives cross‑functional change, manages risks, and ensures disciplined execution across areas such as process redesign, system implementation, operating model changes, and governance improvement. All projects are delivered in line with the Raytheon Enterprise Project Management (REPM) framework, covering the full lifecycle from concept through to entry into service.
Summary of Responsibilities:
The role is accountable for delivering transformation initiatives from mobilisation through to handover, supported by detailed project planning covering scope, milestones, risks, issues, benefits, and resources. It involves leading cross‑functional teams to ensure ownership and delivery of objectives, while maintaining strong governance, reporting, and adherence to organisational project management standards. The role proactively manages risks, drives stakeholder engagement at all levels, and supports transformation efforts such as process standardisation, system implementation, operating model change, and capability development. It also ensures change impacts are understood and effectively managed, and provides clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders and governance boards.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience as a Transformation Delivery Manager or Project Manager, delivering complex projects end‑to‑end.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.
- Strong experience delivering process, systems, or operating model change.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and execution skills with a strong focus on outcomes.
- Experience producing high‑quality project documentation, reporting, and governance artefacts.
- Eligible for SC clearance.
- Certified, or eligible to be certified, at Level 3 or Level 4 in the Raytheon PM tiering process.
Desirable experience:
- Formal project management certification or training.
- Experience delivering transformation in large, regulated, or complex organisations.
- Exposure to system implementations (e.g. ERP, planning tools, data platforms).
- Experience working within formal enterprise PMO or governance frameworks.
- Strong change management awareness and experience supporting adoption.
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defence, or technology environments.
