Transformation Office Intern - Summer 2026

Sensata Interns have the unique opportunity to support a focused, actionable approach for an increased and more accurate understanding of customers and their individual needs. The Commercial Excellence team works in partnership with functional areas across the organization to deliver digital capabilities that maximize profitable revenue growth, improve customer and product margins and reduce overall costs to serve customers. Our Intern Program is inclusive to all our US sites and is designed to give each intern a concentrated view of what it is like to be an engineer at Sensata.

The Transformation Office (TMO) Summer Intern will support enterprise‑level transformation and strategy initiatives that help shape how the company operates, prioritizes work, and delivers results. This role offers exposure to senior leaders and cross‑functional teams and is ideal for a student interested in strategy, consulting, business transformation, or change management.

The intern will work across Transformation Office priorities and broader strategy topics, contributing to analysis, planning, and execution efforts during a period of meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support transformation and strategy initiatives by conducting research, analysis, and synthesis on key business topics
  • Assist with developing executive‑ready materials, including presentations, summaries, and dashboards
  • Help track progress against transformation initiatives, milestones, and outcomes
  • Support stakeholder engagement efforts by preparing communications, meeting materials, and follow‑ups
  • Contribute to problem‑solving efforts related to operating model design, process improvement, or strategic prioritization
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities
  • Participate in team meetings, workshops, and working sessions to gain exposure to enterprise transformation work

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize information and present clear insights
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and learning quickly in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (experience with data visualization tools is a plus)

Engineering/IT Intern Hourly Rates

  • Sophomore Graduating 2029: $25.00

  • Junior Graduating 2028: $27.00

  • Senior Graduating 2027: $29.00

  • Graduate Students:  $32.00
