Role overview   
 

As our Transformation Manager in Fraud, you’ll be a strategic change leader, driving end to end transformation that delivers real impact faster, smarter and sustainably. Combining commercial acumen, digital and technical fluency, journey design and agile delivery, you’ll lead cross functional teams, turning strategy into action and embedding lasting change across Hastings Direct.

 
 

Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:  
 

  • Leading cross functional delivery teams to deliver complex transformation initiatives end to end from concept, technical delivery and operational adoption

  • Leading on journey design (systems, tools, processes in service of the business strategic objectives and safeguarding customer and regulatory outcomes

  • Driving delivery discipline through effective planning, governance, issue resolution and progress tracking, keeping outcomes, timelines and quality on track

  • Championing a test-and-learn culture, taking proportionate risks and refining solutions based on insight, performance and customer feedback

  • Leveraging digital and technology tools and platforms (e.g. workflow automation, data analytics, core systems, digital journeys) to enable scalable and efficient transformation

  • Defining and shaping business requirements and success measures in partnership with Operational, Commercial and Supplier teams

  

  

Essential skills/experience:   

  • Proven experience in delivering operational transformation, process improvements or change initiatives within insurance (financial services or similarly regulated environments also considered)

  • Proven experience in scoping and delivering large technology enabled/digital and commercial programmes of work end to end, influencing senior stakeholders

  • Background in portfolio shaping including prioritisation, sequencing and linking strategic big bets to actionable delivery plans

  • Demonstrable experience in building and presenting business cases independently with clear benefits and ROI modelling

  • Experience in leading and delivering multiple types of transformation plans aligned to strategic priorities
