About This Opportunity 

The Transformation Lead, Clinical Service Improvement, locally known as, Senior Manager, Clinical Service Improvement plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the UQ Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Reporting to the Faculty Executive Manager, Faculty of Science, this role is responsible for coordinating and delivering the implementation of recommendations arising from a recent external review of the Hospital. Working in a complex, highimpact clinical and teaching environment, you will partner closely with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders to drive sustainable operational and clinical improvements across the Hospital’s services. 

This is a highly visible and influential role, suited to a collaborative and inquisitive leader who thrives in change environments. You will bring together people, data and insight to improve efficiency, enhance client and student experience, and strengthen the integration between clinical service delivery and UQ’s academic mission. About You 

You will bring substantial leadership experience in clinical services or related health industries. Your background includes demonstrated experience in clinical operations and service delivery or complex service environments where quality, safety and sustainability are paramount. Experience in veterinary operations is advantageous. 

You are confident communicator with proven ability to lead or coordinate complex projects, service redesign initiatives and organisational change. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills enable you to interpret operational and clinical data and translate insights into clear plans, reports and recommendations. You are highly organised, comfortable producing highquality documentation such as implementation plans, SOPs and guidance materials, and known for your ability to influence and collaborate across clinical, academic and professional teams.
