Mō te tūranga | About the Role
If you love solving complex problems, thrive in fast‑moving environments, and get a buzz from helping major organisations run smoothly, this role might be your next big move. As a Transactional Services Specialist, you’ll be the go‑to expert for some of Aotearoa’s largest institutional and government clients.
You’ll help support our clients with product fulfilment and maintenance, sophisticated transactional and payment solutions and ensuring their day‑to‑day operation needs are humming. From onboarding large multi‑entity clients to navigating high‑stakes service challenges, you’ll play a critical role in delivering seamless, compliant, and high‑value experiences that make a real difference.
This is a role for someone who loves variety, enjoys collaborating with sharp minds across the bank, and isn’t afraid to lead the way when things get complex.
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
You’ll bring a blend of expertise, curiosity, and customer centric thinking. We’re looking for someone who can confidently navigate complexity while keeping clients at the heart of every decision. While strong SME knowledge is important, this role also requires a proactive and strategic mindset – identifying service gaps, driving continuous improvement, and mitigating issues before they impact outcomes.

What makes you a great fit?
You’re someone who naturally sees the bigger picture and understands how your work contributes to broader business outcomes. You build trust with senior stakeholders and bring confidence and clarity to complex situations. Your deep expertise helps you navigate tricky scenarios, and you enjoy working collaboratively across teams to deliver integrated solutions.
You stay composed under pressure, adapt quickly when things shift, and look for smarter, more modern ways of doing things. You take compliance seriously and champion good risk practice. And importantly, you lift others up — sharing knowledge, supporting peers, and helping junior team members grow.
