KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Transaction Operations Team is responsible for the oversight of the trade life cycle within Eastspring Investments and works closely with outsourced service provider to ensure post trade operational compliance, completion, and success.
This role has several key responsibilities:
- Support Head of Transaction operations to provide oversight on Transaction Operations team including trade operations, corporate actions, reconciliation and Client and regulatory reporting and be the point of escalation for issues.
- Provide oversight on middle office service provider and monitor KPIs/SLAs and delivery commitments
- Challenge, escalate, and resolve issues impacting delivery quality or timeliness.
- Conduct regular service reviews and performance scorecards.
- Support global markets investment activities across multiple asset classes.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, custodians, brokers and outsourced service provider to ensure prompt resolution of trade related issues and queries
- Partake in new markets and new instruments working group and perform necessary analysis.
- Partake and support transition activities
- Kept abreast of market updates and drive process changes.
- Maintain, update and review team processes, procedures, checklists etc.
- Explore continuous process improvement opportunities.
- Perform oversight checks on trade regulatory reporting for EMIR and MAS
- Represent Transaction Operations to support Change Management activities and initiatives to grow the business
- Support and drive regulatory and market/ industry projects with project team and transaction ops SMEs
- Work with middle office service provider on prompt Incident reporting and management
- Track root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Communicate material issues to senior management and regulators if required.
- Performance and Talent Management/ Development for the team

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- More than 10 years of asset management industry experience preferably in a similar role
- Strong operational asset management expertise
- Good knowledge of multiple asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income Rates, FX Forwards, Money Market
- Experience in using Aladdin
