Transaction Associate - JLL

What this job involves: As a CRE Transaction Associate at JLL, you'll play a vital role in supporting our commercial real estate transaction team through every stage of complex deals. This position combines analytical rigor with client service excellence, where you'll assist in executing lease transactions, sales, and acquisitions while building strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders. You'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research, preparing detailed financial analyses, and creating compelling marketing materials that showcase properties to their fullest potential. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to support transaction strategies and client advisory services

  • Prepare detailed financial models, cash flow projections, and investment analysis for potential deals

  • Create and maintain marketing materials including offering memorandums, property brochures, and presentation decks

  • Coordinate due diligence processes, managing document requests and facilitating information flow between parties

  • Support senior brokers in client meetings, property tours, and transaction negotiations

  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and deal status reporting in CRM systems

  • Collaborate with internal teams including research, marketing, and legal to ensure smooth transaction execution

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, and market contacts through professional communication

  • Analyze comparable sales and lease data to provide accurate property valuations and market insights

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field

  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate, investment banking, or financial analysis

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to senior stakeholders

  • Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals including valuation methods and market dynamics

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Real Estate, MBA, or other relevant advanced degree

  • Previous experience with commercial real estate transactions or brokerage

  • Knowledge of real estate software platforms such as CoStar, LoopNet, or Argus

  • Real estate license or willingness to obtain within first year of employment

  • Experience with financial analysis software and database management systems

  • Demonstrated track record of building professional relationships and business development
