Job Summary

FTE Mexicana S.A. de C.V. is seeking a motivated and eager Trainnee Maintenance to learn and assist in the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in industrial maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist senior maintenance technicians in performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
* Learn to diagnose basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues under supervision.
* Support the repair and replacement of faulty components and parts.
* Help maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.
* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
* Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding maintenance issues and progress.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the maintenance department.

Job Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent; technical vocational training or a relevant associate's degree is a plus.
* Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles preferred.
* Strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
* Knowledge of safety procedures and practices is desirable.
* Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
* No prior experience required; enthusiasm for a career in maintenance is key.
