Job Description:

About the Role:

As a Training Supervisor, you will be a key player in shaping a skilled, capable, and engaged workforce at our Princeton, KY, plant, a manufacturer of high-quality crackers. Your role will directly impact the success of the site by leading the development and execution of comprehensive training programs that support operational excellence and employee growth. This position ensures consistent onboarding, upskilling, and cross-training of team members while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

The Training Supervisor is responsible for managing, developing, coordinating, and conducting training initiatives across the facility, aligned with TreeHouse Foods' training standards. You will partner closely with the THS LMS Leader and Site Leadership to assess training needs across production lines and implement effective training strategies that empower employees and drive plant performance.

You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

  • Develop well-structured technical training materials for production equipment and lines.
  • Facilitate training sessions to ensure clear understanding among participants.
  • Analyze information and apply logical problem-solving to address work-related challenges.
  • Work and communicate closely with leaders across the site to enhance information sharing, performance support, and training delivery.
  • Develop high-quality, detailed training documentation that meets THS standards and aligns with its intended audience.
  • Update training materials to reflect process improvements and adapt facilitation techniques to accommodate different learning styles and select appropriate communication mediums, such as manuals or online videos.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of technical writing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of training and documentation.
  • Partner with site leadership to assess training needs and shape the training and development agenda.

Important Details:

  • This is a full-time, on-site role on first shift. Occasional flexibility is required to support alternate shifts and weekends.

You’ll fit right in if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training & Development, Food Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with various training methodologies, including classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and e-learning. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in a training role within a food manufacturing or similar regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMPs, and SQF standards).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to create clear, engaging, and well-structured training content.
  • Proficiency in using multimedia tools to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and improve materials.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
