The Opportunity
This position works out of our Imazium Damansara location in the Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) division. Our EPD is committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world’s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.
As a Training Manager, you will coordinate the training and development activities for the sales area to enable the organization's sales force maximizing their sales potential.
What You’ll Do
- Fine tune sales force automation project and it’s implementation.
- Drive commercial excellence and its accreditation process.
- Assess affiliate training needs, develop and execute action plans
- Maintaining effectiveness in varying environments and with different tasks, responsibilities, and people.
- Making active attempts to influence events to achieve goals; self-starting rather than accepting passively; taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required, being proactive.
- Generating creative solutions to work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with organisational problems and opportunities.
- Maintaining and promoting social, ethical, and organisational norms in conducting internal and external business activities.
- Presenting ideas effectively to individuals or groups when given time for preparation; delivering presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience.
- Establishing a course of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in training and/or sales management experience in healthcare industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field/or any equivalent.
