As part of the technical training team, this role will coordinate and plan the technical training delivery across Anglian Water, utilising the Learning Management System, SAP and other external systems.

Plan and schedule training and assessments to meet the requirements of the Training Delivery Manager, AW’s Safe and Well “management of” procedures, and in response to staff turnover.

Ensure training is refreshed as required and where appropriate liaise with Operational Managers and OA’s to facilitate this.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule training courses and e-learning in response to staff turnover, business priorities and expiring qualification requirements.
  • Ensure that all courses, event bookings and attendance records are accurately scheduled and recorded
  • Liaise with internal and external training providers and OA’s to organise venues, training resources, refreshments and other site requirements as necessary
  • Monitor and record training and assessment cancellations and ‘swaps’ to maximise course attendance and minimise overall spend
  • Arrange ‘License to Operate’ assessments at appropriate sites
  • Arrange on-line assessments for water and water recycling technicians
  • Provide ongoing support to the Training & Development Manager and Training and Development Business Partners by maintaining accurate training records
  • Process and approve invoices from external suppliers ensuring they are accurate
  • Raise requisitions and POs in response to requests
