Training Coordinator

The purpose of the Assistant Trainer role is to support the development, maintenance, and delivery of high-quality IT training, with a strong focus on training content ownership, preparation, and alignment with business and system experts.

The Assistant Trainer works closely with SAP Lead Trainers and supports multiple workstreams to ensure that training materials are accurate, consistent, and ready for effective delivery, particularly in a release-driven environment.

Your role

1. Training Content Ownership & Maintenance

  • Own and maintain training content for assigned topics or workstreams
  • Translate system changes (e.g. SAP releases) into training-relevant updates
  • Ensure consistency of content across regions, templates, and audiences
  • Continuously improve training materials based on:
    • Feedback from trainings
    • Input from business and stream experts
  • Align training content with current system functionality and processes

2. Training Preparation & Trainer Support

  • Prepare and update trainer materials (e.g. slides, exercises, scenarios)
  • Support Lead Trainers in:
    • Training preparation (e.g. dry runs, alignment sessions)
    • Structuring training sessions and learning flows
  • Ensure training materials are delivery-ready and fit for purpose
  • Support the adaptation of content for different regions or audiences

3. Support of Training Delivery (Virtual & Selective)

  • Support virtual training sessions (e.g. release-related enablement sessions for Key Users)
  • Provide assistance during training:
    • Q&A support
    • Clarifications on system behaviour and content
  • Contribute to smooth and consistent training execution

4. Curriculum, Rollout & Key User Enablement

  • Support preparation of curriculum reviews and rollout activities
  • Prepare demos and walkthroughs for new or changed functionalities
  • Support enablement of Key Users as multipliers in their regions
  • Collect structured feedback from Key Users and trainings
  • Feed insights back into training content and materials

5. Stakeholder Alignment & Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with:
    • Lead Trainers
    • Stream / business experts
    • Training and project teams
  • Align on content changes, priorities, and improvements
  • Act as a bridge between content, system changes, and training delivery

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Education, Business, IT or related field
  • Solid understanding of training concepts and adult learning principles. Ability to understand and translate ERP system functionality into training content.
  • English: B2+ (working proficiency), German: desirable
  • Advanced ERP experience (preferably SAP), potentially with a focus on specific modules.
  • minimum 2-3 years, ideally in training, enablement, or instructional design of ERP solutions (preferably SAP)
  • Structured and detail-oriented working style
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work across multiple topics and stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset and ownership mentality
  • Flexibility to support multiple workstreams in parallel
