What will you do?
The Training Coordinator will support operations, safety, quality, and other departments in conducting and developing training programs, on-the-job training criteria, and certification programs to increase the skill level of plant employees. You will also be responsible for collaborating and developing processes and tools to maintain current employee training records, skills matrices, and training plans, with a focus on electronic/digital management and aligning the program with safety and quality compliance guidelines.
How will you do it?
Conduct and/or coordinate training and certification programs that include "classroom" and on-the-job training for all production employees.
Maintain training systems documentation and processes.
Work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop and organize training materials, such as training manuals, operator instructions, and training videos.
Conduct and support new hire orientation training to include safety, quality, and a general understanding of production processes.
Create and maintain processes for managing employee transfers between jobs, departments, and shifts.
Coordinate process audits as a means to measure the effectiveness of the Training Program.
Support quality department initiatives and process improvements as it relates to training, process changes, and process controls.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with Microsoft programs is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
