Key Responsibilities

Training & Deployment Lead – Procurement

Responsible for end-to-end management of procurement process and systems training. Duties include maintaining and enhancing training materials, designing and delivering updated training for new releases and process changes, managing the training calendar, and driving measurable adoption. The role requires advanced presentation abilities, experience in instructional design, and hands-on delivery within enterprise settings. Familiarity with Source-to-Pay platforms and cross-functional stakeholder engagement is preferred.

Oversee the comprehensive training plan and schedule for procurement processes and systems (e.g., Sourcing, Contracting, Supplier Onboarding, Third-Party Risk Management, Req2Pay). Ensure maintenance of a current, version-controlled library of training resources, including e-learning modules, presentations, facilitator guides, videos, job aids, FAQs, and quick reference guides. Manage content for GSP users and maintain external user resources. Establish and enforce content standards and style guidelines to ensure consistency across various formats and audiences (buyers, requisitioners, approvers, suppliers, finance, and partners).

Conduct needs assessments, task analyses, and audience segmentation to determine learning objectives and appropriate delivery methods (live, virtual, self-paced). Develop training content based on adult learning principles and best practices. Collaborate with subject matter experts, technology owners, and business process leaders to capture workflows, scenarios, and updates; integrate feedback mechanisms and metrics for continuous enhancement of training materials.

Training Delivery & Execution

Deliver dynamic instructor-led sessions (in-person and virtual) and organize train-the-trainer programs. Manage all aspects of training logistics, including enrollment, scheduling, communication, pre-work distribution, post-training surveys, and attendance tracking. Monitor user adoption and proficiency, implementing reinforcement strategies such as office hours, refresher microlearning, and targeted communications.

Deployment & Change Readiness

Participate in project teams for system implementations, releases, or process changes, designing training workstreams, readiness criteria, and go-live support plans. Develop role-based rollout strategies and supporting materials (checklists, hypercare guides, support channels). Coordinate with Change Management on stakeholder analysis, persona development, communications, and measurement strategies.

Business Expertise

Demonstrates understanding of business challenges and proactively recommends enhancements to products, services, or processes. Maintains detailed records of training and compliance, providing regular reports on attendance, satisfaction, completion rates, and skill advancement. Sets training objectives, monitors progress, updates leadership, and suggests corrective actions when necessary.

  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, LMS, recording software, surveys, and project management apps
  • Knowledgeable about procurement systems and Source-to-Pay technologies
  • Keeps training and compliance records current and provides dashboards with key metrics
  • Establishes KPIs to measure and report training success and adoption

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Training attendance and completion rates by audience/role
  • Learner satisfaction (CSAT) and facilitator quality scores
  • Knowledge acquisition (assessment scores) and speed to proficiency
  • Post-deployment adoption metrics (system usage, error rates, cycle-time improvements)
  • Decrease in helpdesk tickets related to trained processes
  • Timeliness and quality of training deliverables in line with project milestones

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education/Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. Five to eight or more years in training/enablement roles, ideally within Procurement, Finance, Operations, or Technology Transformation. Proven experience developing and delivering role-based training for enterprise systems and processes. Participation in system implementations or large-scale process deployments (design, UAT, change management, hypercare) is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as CPTD/ATD, Prosci Change Management, Agile (Scrum), or LMS administration. Experience in producing e-learning modules and microlearning content is an advantage.

Working Model & Travel

This hybrid role entails occasional travel (up to 10–20%, as required) for major deployments, workshops, or onsite trainings.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
