DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Examine trailers to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Diagnoses, repairs, builds and rebuilds all parts of trailer equipment
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solution, whenever appropriate.
• Maintain 80% productivity 
• Prevent comebacks
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of trailers and equipment.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as lubrications and component replacements.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric and brake accessories).
• Test components using proper equipment to ensure proper operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair suspension systems including leaf and coil spring systems, and Hendrickson walking beam type suspension systems.
• Perform basic aluminum and steel wire welding.
• File, grind, sand and smooth filled or repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Other duties assigned.

The annualized pay ranges vary based on work location. The salary range for this position is $17.00 – $37.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Additional Compensation: This position may be eligible for monthly bonuses/commissions.  Benefits: In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for benefits such as health insurance, dental, vision, 401k, life and AD&D, paid time off, holidays.
