Description

Graham Capital Management, L.P. is seeking an experienced Trading Services Application Developer to join our Technology team and help shape the platforms that run our business. Working alongside team leads and key stakeholders, the ideal candidate will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications that serve multiple departments across the firm. Our systems span a wide range of functionality, including capturing and managing prices for exchange-traded and OTC-traded derivative instruments, as well as new workflow tools and automation initiatives supporting Accounting and other operational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with developers and business users to gather requirements and scope projects
  • Design and develop robust, high-performance applications and services with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and maintainability
  • Deliver product specifications and training for peers and end users on system use and maintenance
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) through defect triage and resolution
  • Provide ongoing support for applications through production, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancements
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance system architecture, data quality, workflows, and business outcomes

 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in financial services
  • C#, .NET Framework, Git/Subversion or equivalent, NuGet, SQL Server
  • MVC.Net, Angular or Vue, WebAPI, REST
  • Agile, Unit Testing, Concurrency, MOM, SOA
  • Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work both independently and within a team
  • .NET Core, .NET Standard, one functional language (preferred)
  • Excel power user, FinCAD or QuantLib or equivalent (preferred)
  • Some financial modeling experience (preferred)

This role requires commuting into our Rowayton, CT office Mondays through Fridays.

Base Salary Range

The anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 to $180,000.  The anticipated range is based on information as of the time this post was generated and does not include any discretionary bonus or benefits (see eligibility below). The applicable annual salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors, including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience, skills, and qualifications.  This wage range may be modified in the future.

In addition, the employee who fills this role will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as a wide array of benefit programs, such as medical and life insurance, 401(K) plans, and access to other healthcare programs.
