About your team

Our diverse and talented Post Trade Operations team is responsible for the operational processes and controls and risk management to support post trade investment execution across all public global markets and asset classes. The overall team  functions which sit within the team include: trade capture, confirmation, settlement, tade routing,

The team demonstrates strong subject matter expertise of both internal systems and external trade flows and utilizes this knowledge to drive daily decision making as well as partnering with front office to create and drive better client outcomes through improved operations and technology solutions.

Post Trade Operations sits at the heart of the organisation in a middle office capacity, acting as a bridge between the front office, which focuses on generating returns, and the back office, which is responsible for custody and accounting.

About your role

We are seeking a dynamic leader to head our Trade Readiness team, based in Dublin. This team plays a critical role in managing change requirements for the onboarding of new brokers, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage broker onboarding processes, ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams and external service providers.
  • Receive, review, and process onboarding requests, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Create, submit, amend, and maintain documentation specific to each legal entity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external service providers to facilitate timely and efficient onboarding.
  • Participate in team meetings with the wider counterparty stakeholder groups to align on best practices and priorities.

This is a global role requiring close collaboration with trading desks and multiple operational stakeholder groups to meet tight deadlines. You will have management responsibilities across Fidelity’s three service centres: Dublin, Gurgaon, and Dalian. The function is also moving between departments and will require setting up the team structure and implementing the team scope.
 

About you

  • Strong operational background with proven experience in process control and risk management within global teams.
  • Prior experience collaborating with trading as a key stakeholder group.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive end-to-end impact assessments, considering risks and benefits across the business.
  • Collaborative mindset, ensuring inclusion of all relevant parties in decision-making processes.
  • Strong drive to improve and streamline processes to meet stakeholder needs.
