The Trade Marketing Specialist supports the development and execution of trade strategies aimed at increasing product visibility, improving sell-out performance, and strengthening the relationship with key retail partners.
The role acts as a bridge between Marketing and Sales, ensuring flawless execution of in-store and co-marketing activations.
The person will be in charge of the following activities:
Trade Strategy & Planning:
Support the definition of the annual trade marketing plan;
Coordinate promotional activities and co-marketing initiatives with key retailers.
Retail Execution & Activation with POS materials:
Coordinate the production and distribution of POS materials (displays, POP, SIS);
Manage vendors for production, logistics, installation, and maintenance;
Ensure brand coherence and high-quality execution across all touchpoints;
Monitor in-store presence, planograms, display compliance, and visibility standards;
Collaborate with internal Sales teams and key retail partners to maximize brand exposure.
Trade & Co-marketing Activities:
Coordinate co-marketing plans with key retail partners, defining product focus, promotional periods, and shared objectives;
Manage joint promotional campaigns, ensuring correct execution across flyers, digital assets, retail media, and in-store materials;
Collaborate with retailers on digital co-marketing initiatives (banners, newsletters, landing pages, product pages) and guarantee timely content delivery.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Collect and validate post-activation evidence (photos, screenshots, reports) and support ROI analysis and sell-out performance tracking;
Prepare regular performance dashboards and insights for Sales and Marketing.
What you need to succeed
Must have
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Communication, or a related field
Professional experience: proven experience in Trade Marketing, Retail Marketing or Sales Support. Strong understanding of retail dynamics, POS materials, and in-store visibility execution. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Language: English and Italian, both written and spoken
Soft skills: Fast, reliable, autonomous, well-organized with great skills in communication and team leadership
Technical Skills:
Attention to detail, problem-solving attitude, and ownership of tasks from planning to execution;
Solid analytical skills with the ability to work on sell-out data, KPIs, and ROI measurement;
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple activities at once
