What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Plan and manage the efficient flow of products and services through the Pfizer supply chain cycle, ensuring compliance with in-country and international regulations.
Ensure efficient operations by maintaining proper system interfaces between Pfizer and other required parties, monitoring the accuracy and completeness of supply chain systems.
Develop and maintain import Foreign Trade Zone requirements for tariff management
Maintain accurate inventory visibility at the Distribution Center Logistics Service Providers and oversee transit progress, collaborating with couriers and consignees to resolve clearance delays.
Prepare various reports, including Logistics and Supply Chain Reports, Mitigation Control Reports, Segregation of Duty (SOD), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) reports.
Support investigations and commitments related to product shipments, assisting with on-site inspections and audits, and keeping records per Pfizer and applicable regulations.
Perform packaging, labeling, and shipping of both Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Non-GMP materials.
Collaborate with various functional stakeholders, including Business Unit colleagues, Above Market Planning (AMP) Hub, Regional Supply Chain, Logistics Service Providers (LSP), Regulatory, Quality Operations (QO), Finance, and the Health & Value team.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
BA/BS with any years of experience or Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience or high School diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
Familiarity with both domestic and international logistics and government regulations
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience with inventory management concepts
Knowledge of System Application and Products (SAP)
Ability to work in a structured environment using established procedures
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Experience in an Import/Export environment
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with various functional stakeholders
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
