We are looking for a Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Senior Manager, Global Trade and is based in Newark, DE.  This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

Import & Export Operations

  • Provide day-to-day compliance support for import and export activities: shipment approvals, documentation support, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure accurate, timely filings and fast resolution of broker requests for information.
  • Support complex movements (e.g., in-bond processes where applicable) and maintain strong operational controls.

Classification & Trade Data Governance

  • Own and continuously improve the integrity of Parts/Item Master trade attributes (HTS, ECCN, COO, PGA flags) within the Global Trade Management system.
  • Assign/validate HTS classifications and ECCN determinations; support export authorization decisions (license determination and documentation).
  • Drive data quality improvements between Oracle ERP/Fusion and GTM to reduce clearance delays and rework.

Regulatory & OGA Coordination

  • Coordinate compliance requirements across applicable Partner Government Agencies (e.g., FDA, EPA, USDA), ensuring required data and documentation are correct and available.
  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g., 19 CFR / 15 CFR) and incorporate changes into standard work.

Audit, Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Support responses and documentation for CBP actions (CF-28/CF-29) and compliance remedies such as Post Summary Corrections and Prior Disclosures when needed.
  • Conduct transactional reviews/audits of import/export records; escalate issues, recommend corrective actions, and help implement improvements.
  • Maintain organized import/export records and entry documentation to support audit readiness and retention requirements.
  • Analyze import/export data to identify compliance risks and savings opportunities (duty optimization, process efficiency, broker performance).

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Logistics, Purchasing, Planning, and site teams to solve problems quickly and build scalable compliance processes.
  • Support training and enablement across functional teams as needed.

Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training or certifications (preferably Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and/or Licensed Customs Broker (LCB)).
  • 5+ years of hands-on trade compliance experience (import/export operations, brokerage/forwarding interface, or in-house compliance).
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. import/export compliance requirements and operational execution.
  • Experience supporting or managing the following: classification (HTS), country of origin, broker coordination, export shipment approvals, and recordkeeping.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional partners.
  • High integrity, strong judgment, and ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle ERP / Oracle Fusion / Oracle GTM.
  • Familiarity with FTZ operations and import brokerage processes.
  • Comfort with data analysis and reporting (advanced Excel; AWS; QuickBase a plus).

Salary Ranges:

$61,500.00 - $88,500.00
