Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Customs Trade classification determinations, including U.S. HTS and ECCN classifications, for Applied Materials systems, spare parts, and other products related to import and export activities.
- Assist with compliance data collection, documentation, and record‑keeping to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Support compliance training initiatives and participate in internal and external audit activities.
- Generate, review, and analyze trade compliance reports to identify trends and potential risks.
- Participate in root cause analysis of international trade compliance issues and recommend effective solutions to support corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide support in responding to Customs inquiries related to product classifications.
- Contribute to special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by Trade Compliance Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Automobile, Industrial Production, or Aeronautical Engineering (mandatory).
- 2–5 years of professional experience in U.S. HTS and ECCN classification, with demonstrated expertise in classification methodologies.
- Working knowledge of HTS and ECCN classification requirements in additional international jurisdictions.
- Hands-on experience in Mechanical or Industrial Production engineering, including proficiency in GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Excellent data analysis and administrative capabilities, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, track action items, and ensure timely closure.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with international trade, export, and import terminology is preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience on SAP GTS.
- Experience with Team Center, NX & other CAD software.
- Knowledge of advanced technology & process involved in Semiconductor, Flat Panel, Solar cell manufacturing & advanced packaging
