The Global Trade Analyst at Intel plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of Intel's internal and external business activities. This position is responsible for executing trade compliance solutions by conducting timely and accurate compliance reviews and managing cross-border requests. As part of Intel's continuous improvement program, the Trade Analyst will leverage data analytics to identify new opportunities, trends, and enhance existing controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily operational tasks of the designated functional stream to ensure smooth cross-border activities globally.

  • Determine Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification for shipments of capital equipment, spares, chemicals, etc.

  • Determine Export Classification Control Number and Export License for shipments.

  • Perform sanctioned/denied/restricted party screening.

  • Implement and improve standard operating procedures.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve specific cross-border trade compliance exceptions and issues.

  • Identify and communicate execution gaps, challenges, risks, trends, and opportunities to concerned parties.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced English

  • Bachelor’s degree in international trade, business, management, information systems, data analyst or relevant. Or 1+ year of relevant working experience in lieu of the degree in any of the below:

    • Classifying products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and determining Export Classification Control Numbers (ECCN).

    • SAP GTS or Similar Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing)

  • 1+ years of data analytics to identify trends, drive opportunities, and enhance compliance controls
