Leidos is seeking a talented TPS Integration Lead to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. A successful candidate would be capable of engaging in multidisciplinary problem-solving activities as a part of a diverse team in a fast-paced research and development/rapid-prototyping environment. Additionally, a successful candidate would be able to confidently apply knowledge, experience, and good engineering practice across assigned domains to identify issues and drive solutions.
As an integral member of the TPS Production Team, the successful candidate will serve as TPS Integration Lead supporting tooling, assembly, testing, and general design tasks. This position may perform on multiple programs and will balance multiple activities including, but not limited to:
- Design of production tooling
- Design of components and prototypes
- Design of test plans and test assemblies
- Utilization of SolidWorks to create models and drawings of concepts and products
-Utilization of FEA software like Ansys to perform analysis structural of tooling and flight hardware
- Organize and maintain engineering records (such as System Requirements, BOM, rationale, methods of manufacturing, procedures, etc.)
-Support Failure Review Board and Material Review Board Activities on behalf of integration activity
- Performs other related job duties as required
- Travel as required
Basic Qualifications - Required
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution with 4 – 8 years of applicable experience
- Candidate must have experience with CAD software and 3D modeling
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance
- Must be able to travel up to 10%
- Experience with assembly of hardware in a production environment.

- Experience with SolidWorks

- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Experience working in manufacturing or production environment
- Experience with TDP analysis
- Experience with GD&T
- Experience in an AS9100 facility
