TPM Engineer

Purolite, an Ecolab company, the world leader in resin-based separation, purification and extraction technology, is seeking a TPM Engineer at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Victoria, Brasov!

What you’ll do: 

  • Support the implementation of the site TPM strategy, in line with business objectives, the TPM master plan and TPM certification requirements (Bronze / Silver).
  • Translate TPM concepts into daily operational practices at shop‑floor level.
  • Support the development, deployment and effective operation of TPM pillars
  • Support the identification and analysis of operational losses (safety, quality, productivity, cost).
  • Support the implementation of solutions to eliminate losses and track their effectiveness.
  • Apply and promote structured problem‑solving methodologies (e.g. 5 Why, Kaizen).
  • Facilitate training sessions on TPM methodologies and tools (e.g. Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Ishikawa).
  • Provide hands‑on support to teams in applying the acquired knowledge.
  • Contribute to increasing the TPM competence level at shop‑floor level.
  • Support the definition and follow‑up of action plans.
  • Support the implementation and effective running of daily and weekly TPM meetings and Daily Management routines, helping teams visualise performance, identify deviations and define concrete actions.
  • Support the implementation and sustainment of 5S and visual management practices.
  • Develop and promote the use of standards as a daily way of working.
  • Actively participate in TPM self‑assessments and gap analyses, supporting the definition of improvement plans.
  • Support the preparation of documentation required for internal TPM assessments and external TPM certifications, contributing to the demonstration of TPM system maturity during audits.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams and support functions (Quality, SHE, Engineering).
  • Ensure continuous shop‑floor feedback regarding implementation barriers, TPM understanding level and improvement opportunities.

What you'll need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or related)
  • 3+ years of experience in a production or industrial environment
  • Basic knowledge of TPM / Lean Manufacturing and industrial equipment
  • Experience with problem-solving methods (RCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and KPIs
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Hands-on, results-oriented mindset with the ability to influence across teams
  • Conversational level of English
