Collins is seeking a skilled Total Rewards Partner, individual contributor, to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and leaders across the enterprise to develop and deliver strategic, data-informed compensation solutions that help attract, motivate, and retain talent.
As a trusted advisor, you will shape compensation practices for your assigned business units, build strong partnerships, and ensure seamless execution of programs and processes. Here’s how you will make an impact:
Collaborate: Serve as the primary Total Rewards partner for HR Business Partners, providing guidance and consultation to support business leaders.
Drive Business Success: Apply strategic insight to strengthen employee engagement, enhance retention, and ensure competitive compensation positioning.
Build Trust: Strengthen confidence in Total Rewards by clearly articulating the Collins compensation philosophy, programs, and decision-making rationale.
Prioritize Customer Focus: Keep HR Business Partners—and the employees and leaders they support—at the center of every solution you deliver.
Adapt and Problem Solve: Demonstrate agility in shifting priorities, managing multiple tasks, and maintaining a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
Leverage Analytics: Use data and market insights to inform decisions, identify trends, and support compensation recommendations.
What You Will Do:
Drive Execution: Support the delivery of Global Total Rewards strategies and programs by applying deep business understanding and awareness of evolving market conditions.
Collaborate: Build strong partnerships and effectively influence HR and business leaders at all levels to deliver best-in-class Total Rewards solutions aligned with enterprise strategy.
Communicate & Manage Change: Contribute to the development of communication materials and change management plans that enhance program understanding and adoption.
Attract Talent: Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to design competitive, market-aligned offers for key external hires.
Execute Key Processes: Lead and support critical Total Rewards processes—such as Annual Compensation Planning, new program deployments, union negotiations, and M&A activities—to drive consistent global execution.
Support the Business: Balance strategic consultation with day-to-day operational support to address evolving business needs.
Deliver Insights: Transform data into meaningful insights and compelling stories that illuminate opportunities and guide decision-making.
Advocate: Champion the Collins Aerospace HR vision and Total Rewards philosophy across the organization.
Apply Critical Thinking: Lead teams through structured analysis to assess issues, identify root causes, and determine practical, high-impact solutions.
Make Strategic Decisions: Evaluate costs, benefits, risks, and alternatives to make timely, well-reasoned recommendations.
Travel: Approximately 10% domestically.

How to manage and support end-to-end Total Rewards projects—including scoping, planning, stakeholder communication, and execution.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Experience with hourly compensation programs, including wage structures, shift premiums.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in Total Rewards and Compensation within a large, complex, and matrixed organization, with the ability to navigate stakeholder groups.
Experience working in a Global Fortune 50 company or within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, high-tech, and/or engineering industries.
Professional certifications such as WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP).
Experience with incentive plans.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling visuals and insights for executive audiences.
Analytical and storytelling capabilities, leveraging data to inform decisions, influence stakeholders, and connect insights to broader business strategies and outcomes.
Solid understanding of global HR practices, compensation trends, regulatory considerations, and global Total Rewards methodologies.
Proven ability to partner effectively at all levels of the organization, maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
Self-driven with strong planning and prioritization skills, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple deliverables.
Demonstrated agility and resilience, with the ability to pivot quickly based on shifting business needs and competing priorities.
Proactive problem-solver who identifies issues early, conducts thorough analysis, and delivers timely, practical recommendations.
Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, execution, and communication skills, including the ability to simplify complexity.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
