The Director of Total Rewards at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System will lead the design, implementation, and management of the organization’s compensation, benefits, and employee well-being programs. This role ensures that total rewards strategies are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the health system’s mission, values, and strategic objectives, supporting the attraction, retention, and engagement of a high-performing workforce.

Required: Bachelors Degree
Strongly Preferred: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefit Professional (CBP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)
Pay: based on experience, starting at $126,817.60
Responsibilities
Collaborate with other members of the HR team to provide unified support to the leaders and workforce., Develop annual benefits and salary increase budgets, balancing workforce needs with financial and economic constraints., Direct and optimize the administrative effectiveness of benefits and compensation functions, ensuring high standards of execution and accuracy., Ensure compensation programs are internally equitable, externally competitive, and compliant with federal and state regulations, including ERISA, FLSA, and HIPAA., Identify and remediate compliance gaps, coordinating across functions to minimize risk and ensure operational integrity., Lead communications and change management strategies to educate employees, announce program updates, and enhance engagement and satisfaction., Lead the design, implementation, and management of total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and incentive plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, financial capacity, and regulatory requirements., Maintain HR policy and program alignment with organizational strategy, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement., Monitor and report on total rewards program effectiveness, costs, and compliance, recommending adjustments to the CHRO to support talent attraction and retention., Oversee vendor relationships with consultants, brokers, carriers, and plan administrators to ensure high-quality service and cost-effective solutions.Requirements
