We are looking for an experienced Total Health Management Senior Consultant to join Mercer’s Total Health Management (THM) Consulting team. This role will be based in one of our Western Canada Mercer offices. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Total Health Management team has the stated goal of bringing healthy productivity back to the workplace. From health and wellbeing; through prevention, accommodation and absence/disability management; into recovery, rehabilitation and return to work – enabling the workforce and workplace to stay healthy and at work is our aim.
This Senior Consultant will be responsible developing client relationships and support across Canada, with a focus in Western Canada (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan) in collaboration with regional and national Mercer teams. The focus of the role is to increase the organizational health, productivity and wellbeing of clients through developing business opportunities, delivering consulting services, and project work / leadership in the THM strategic structure.
We will count on you to:
Helping Clients
- Participate in and lead projects locally and nationally
- Participate in vendor meetings to provide market perspective and support client program requirements and service level needs
- Manage project workloads, assignment, pricing and execution
- Provide consulting to Health and Benefits team and Mercer Health clients
Promoting with Purpose
- Develop and grow business opportunities for THM
- Client and public-facing delivery of thought leadership
Team
- Participate in enhancing and improving tools, insights and products
- Act as a mentor and coach for Total Health Management colleagues
- Collaborate and inspire teamwork
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a health or social sciences related field;
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in a field related to disability management (mandatory), wellbeing, health promotion, occupational health, human resources;
- Expert level of knowledge across several of disability management, wellbeing programs, EFAP, HR programs and policies;
- Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment;
- Ability to partner and lead teams to deliver project objectives; ability to work independently and on a team;
- Available to travel as needed.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $118,000 to $195,500.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
