Job Description:

This role is part of the Advisory and Professional Services (A&PS) organization, part of Global Sales. This organization is HPE Services arm, providing customer outcomes through A&PS is HPE’s internal solution integrator, helping businesses accelerate time to value and enhance workforce skills. As HPE’s Services arm, we deliver advisory-led, consumption-enabled customer experiences by leveraging our extensive portfolio and partner ecosystem.

Through Advisory Services, we prepare organizations for advanced technology adoption and align IT strategy with business goals, we assess customers’ current IT landscape, offer recommendations, and provide a roadmap for strategic guidance.

Our Professional Services transform these recommendations into actionable IT solutions through our comprehensive portfolio of service offerings that address our customers’ greatest business challenges. From solution design and implementation to technology integration, education services, and management of change, our team of experts can drive and support digital transformation.

Role Summary:

The A&PS Processes and Tools Innovation Lead is accountable for the end-to-end framework of processes and tools across the A&PS organization. This role will map and manage the ecosystem of dependencies with other systems and functions, lead process improvement and transformation initiatives, and promote innovation to boost sales and presales productivity.

You will advocate for automation and AI-driven simplification of day-to-day workflows and play a key role in the transformation of quoting systems (E3T migration is a critical priority). Strong stakeholder engagement with Services Delivery, Customer Operations, Sales, and other cross-functional teams is essential.

Responsibilities:

Processes and tools management

  • Define, document and maintain the A&PS processes framework and tool inventory, including process maps, RACI
  • Map system dependencies and integrations (internal and third-party) and own the end-to-end data and process flow integrity.
  • Provide operational support and act as a single point of accountability for escalations that cross organizational boundaries, resolving root causes rather than symptoms.

Project and program management

  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives focused on improving processes, systems, and tool effectiveness.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics in alignment with business priorities.
  • Bring together stakeholders from multiple teams (e.g., operations, sales, pre-sales, delivery, IT, finance) to ensure alignment and shared ownership.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to define requirements, identify gaps, and promote decision-making.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and change impacts across teams.
  • Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business impact.
  • Provide clear executive-level reporting on progress, outcomes, and ROI.

Innovation and continuous improvement

  • Proactively identify high-impact opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy and accelerate time-to-value.
  • Run structured continuous improvement programs with measurable outcomes and process governance.
  • Ability to identify opportunities where AI can enhance processes or decision-making
  • Cultivate a culture of experimentation: enable rapid prototyping, collect user feedback, iterate, and scale proven solutions.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Collaboration

  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with Professional Services Delivery, Customer Operations, Sales & Presales, Finance, Legal, IT, Product and Engineering to ensure end-to-end alignment of processes and tool behaviors.
  • Facilitate cross-functional working groups and governance forums to prioritize initiatives, resolve inter-team dependencies, and arbitrate competing requirements.
  • Promote stakeholder engagement and change management plans: communications, training curricula, adoption playbooks and role-based enablement.

  • Strong ability to map, analyze, and redesign end-to-end processes, with experience identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Deep understanding of business systems and tool ecosystems (Sales/Presales/Delivery/Solution Operations tools), with strong systems thinking – upstream/downstream impacts
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and simplification and comfortable challenging legacy processes and ways of working
  • Proven experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives, ability to align diverse teams around shared objectives, and excellent executive communication and reporting skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high-level of ownership and accountability.
