Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • The Tooling Solutions Department Leader is responsible for the overall success of the department, overseeing the design, fabrication, assembly, and quality assurance of all custom tooling, platforms, and jigs for customers.
  • Ensure the securization of projects in order to achieve the yearly turnover target on tooling.
  • Design Oversight: Direct the tooling team in the conceptualization, design, and detailed drafting of custom fixtures, jigs, and production tools using CAD/CAM software
  • Process Management: Establish and optimize the workflow from design approval through material procurement, machining, assembly, and final testing, ensuring adherence to tight tolerances
  • Customer Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for key customers during the design, review, and validation phases. Translate complex customer requirements and 2D/3D data into actionable internal design specifications.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee the selection, qualification, and performance of external suppliers/vendors for materials, specialized processes (e.g., heat treating), or outsourced tooling components.
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5 + years of hands-on experience in component manufacturing, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Fluent English
