JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing, controlling and distributing the tools and/or accessories used in the manufacturing area. This includes their maintenance. Work under supervision
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs general cleaning, administrative or maintenance work related to the operation of the area.
- Organize tools and/or accessories within the area.
- Registers and delivers tools and/or accessories to manufacturing personnel.
- Inspects new and repaired tools and equipment for proper operation.
- Write requests for the repair or replacement of tools.
- Writes transmissions for the delivery of tools and equipment to suppliers for repair.
- Perform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on tools and equipment.
- May train new employees if assigned.
- May perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Provide support to all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives to support our zero-accident culture.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- 0-2 Years’s experience in tool management and control
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- Technician in industrial mechanics or mechanical maintenance experience (preferable)
- Microsoft excel experience.
- Ability to keep simple records and calculations (basic math)
- Knowledge of machine shop and mechanical maintenance tools and their repair.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Tooling administration abilities.
