JOB SUMMARY

The Solution Architect will actively engage with prospects and existing customers to identify and understand pain points and link them to the value of our solution set. The Solution Architect will become a trusted advisor and ensure a value based, competitive, consistent, professional interaction from opportunity qualification through to demonstration of our capabilities and proposal creation. This position will be an advocate for the customer post sale and ensure their continued success using our supply chain analytics and decision support platforms encompassing Supply Chain Design, Supply and Demand, Risk Management, Operations, Consumer Intelligence and Supplier Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Partner effectively with the Sales and Marketing teams to produce account plans that include technical qualification of prospects, needs analysis, proposed demonstration criteria and proof of concept/prototype options
·         Provide strategic and senior level product demonstrations for prospects and or existing customers
·         Actively lead any proof of concept or custom demonstration including design, configuration and execution
·         Provide input into RFx and proposal creation
·         Provide user group and trade show support
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
·         Highly creative, inventive and innovative
·         Strong functional knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing operations
·         Excellent knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and short/long term material/production planning
·         Strong knowledge of supply chain systems, data technologies and processes
·         Customer facing with excellent presentation skills
·         Extreme interest in emerging solutions (Big Data, Social Media, Telemetry)
·         Strong understanding of enterprise cloud based SaaS offerings and prior experience executing the technical sales cycle in a complex environment
·         Proven ability to work cross functionally with differing organizational levels – including experience working closely with tier 1 consulting firms and channel partners.
·         Experience with IBM Bluemix platform an advantage
·         Understanding of technical infrastructure and ETL processes an advantage
·         Prior experience as a supply chain practitioner using SAP, Oracle, JDE or other

Job Summary

The TMS Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the Transportation Management System (TMS) to support end-to-end logistics operations. This role serves as the functional and technical expert for the TMS platform, ensuring solutions align with business needs, operational requirements, and long-term transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall design and architecture of the TMS solution, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Logistics, IT, Carrier Management, Finance, Operations) to translate business requirements into system configurations and integrations.
  • Oversee TMS configuration, workflows, rules, rating structures, carrier connectivity, and data models.
  • Define integration requirements between the TMS and enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, EDI/API, reporting tools).
  • Evaluate system gaps, propose solutions, and manage the design of enhancements or custom development.
  • Support carrier onboarding, testing cycles (SIT, UAT, parallel runs), and go-live readiness.
  • Establish and maintain TMS architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, and configuration standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, identifying root causes and developing long-term corrective actions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to guide project teams, advise stakeholders, and ensure best practices in transportation system architecture.
  • Monitor emerging TMS capabilities, industry trends, and technology upgrades to drive continuous improvement.

The pay range for this role is $149,700 - $269,400. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: December 15, 2025.

As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self.
